Xero integration
What the Xero add-on does
When Xero integration is turned on for your subscription, office staff can:
- Connect one Xero organisation per workspace
- Post to Xero on completed jobs, creating a draft sales invoice
- Match customers to Xero contacts (by email where possible; create on first post if needed)
- Open in Xero from the job when an invoice is already posted
Field engineers keep using job sheets and completion as today. They do not see Xero actions.
What stays in JobSheet
- Quotes, job sheets, photos, and scheduling
- JobSheet invoices, credit notes, PDFs, and customer card payments
- CSV and accountant pack exports for JobSheet-issued documents
Xero is optional: use it when your bookkeeper works mainly in Xero, without turning off JobSheet invoicing.
Billing
Xero integration costs £5/month (same price as custom branding). Turn it on under Subscription → Plan & add-ons → Xero integration. After checkout or a subscription update, connect Xero from Workspace.
Draft invoices only
Posts always create draft invoices in Xero so you can fix account codes and VAT types before authorising. You can set defaults in Workspace (for example sales account 200, tax type OUTPUT2 for standard-rated VAT).
