How to get a customer signature on a quote in JobSheet

Before you start

  • Quote status sent (or ready to send).
  • Customer email and a shared customer link.

Steps for you

  1. Open the quote and choose Copy customer link or Email to customer.
  2. Ask the customer to open the link on their phone or computer.
  3. On the quote page, they draw or confirm their signature and submit.
  4. JobSheet stores the signature against the quote. You see confirmation on the quote detail screen.

After signing

  • Update quote status to accepted when you are ready to confirm and create the job sheet.
  • Signed quotes keep the signature on print and PDF views that support client signatures.

Tips

  • Signatures require the public quote link. Customers never log into your workspace.
  • If the customer cannot sign digitally, use Print / PDF and collect a wet signature offline.
  • Revision quotes need a new send and sign if scope changes materially.
