How to share a customer invoice or quote link in JobSheet
What the customer link does
The customer link opens a read-only view of the invoice or quote in the browser. Customers do not need a JobSheet login. When Stripe Connect is set up, the link can include a Pay now option for card payment.
Copy a link from an invoice
- Open the invoice detail screen.
- Choose Copy customer link.
- JobSheet creates or refreshes the link and copies it to your clipboard.
- Paste the link into SMS, WhatsApp, or your own email to the customer.
The link stays valid until you revoke it from support or replace it by copying again (behaviour may vary by workspace policy).
Quotes
Quote customer links follow the same pattern when available on the quote detail screen. Use Copy customer link there, or email the quote from JobSheet so the customer receives the link in the message.
Tips
- Sent invoices emailed from JobSheet include the customer link automatically.
- Void invoices should not be shared. Create a credit note or reissue if needed.
- For attachments, use Email to customer or send files separately. The public page shows the document, not arbitrary uploads.
