How to start your JobSheet free trial
Before you start
You need an email address and a company name. JobSheet is for UK trade businesses. You do not need a card for the trial.
Steps
- Open start.jobsheet.uk and choose Register (or use 14 Day Free Trial on jobsheet.uk).
- Pick a workspace address (subdomain), for example
smithelectrical.jobsheet.uk. This is where you and your team sign in. - Optionally search Companies House to prefill your Ltd company name, or enter the name manually. If you use the How it works walkthrough on jobsheet.uk, your subdomain and Companies House selection carry over when you open 14 Day Free Trial.
- Enter your email, name, and password, then complete registration.
- Sign in at your new workspace URL. You land on Dashboard with customers, job sheets, and schedule ready to set up.
JobSheet sends a welcome email to the address you registered with. It includes your workspace URL and your trial end date. If it does not arrive, check your junk folder and mark it as not junk, because we send a couple more during the trial.
How long the trial lasts
The trial runs for 14 days from registration and needs no card. The banner in your workspace shows the days left.
Add your card details on Subscription before the trial ends and you will sign up automatically on that day. You are not charged before then.
When the trial ends without a card, your workspace goes read only. Nothing is deleted: your jobs, customers, quotes and invoices stay where they are, and subscribing gives you edit access back. See Manage subscription and billing.
What happens next
Start with your customers, because jobs, quotes and invoices all hang off them. You can add one at a time, bring a spreadsheet in with Import CSV, or look up a limited company on Companies House. Then book a job into the diary and fill the job sheet in on your phone on site: that one run through is the quickest way to tell whether JobSheet suits you.
