How to manage subscription and billing in JobSheet
Who can manage billing
Only the workspace admin (owner) sees Subscription in the sidebar. Other team members can view workspace settings but not checkout or the billing portal.
Start or upgrade a subscription
- Open Subscription.
- Under Plan & add-ons, review JobSheet subscription, optional Custom branding, and Team seats (includes workspace admin; extra staff are per seat).
- Adjust Custom branding and seat count if needed. Check Estimated total at the bottom.
- Choose Upgrade subscription (or Subscribe now from the trial banner). Stripe Checkout opens in the browser.
- Complete payment. You return to Subscription when checkout succeeds.
If you already have an active subscription, changed options show Update subscription instead. Stripe prorates changes on your next invoice.
Payment and invoices (Customer Portal)
- Open Subscription.
- Choose Payment & invoices (when your workspace has a Stripe customer record).
- Stripe Customer Portal opens for cards, invoices, and cancellation. Return to JobSheet when finished.
Free trial
Registration includes a 30 day free trial with no card required. The trial banner shows days left and Subscribe now. While trialing, you have full edit access.
Read-only grace
When the trial or subscription ends without payment:
- The workspace enters Read-only. You can view customers, job sheets, quotes, and reports but not edit or create records.
- A banner shows days left in grace to subscribe before access is blocked.
- Choose Subscribe now on Subscription to restore full access.
After grace expires, the account is closed until you subscribe again.
