01 Quote and photograph
Quote by the room, photograph the subfloor
Price strip-out, levelling, fitting and thresholds as separate lines. On site, add your hygrometer reading and subfloor photos to the job, so extras and prep are on record.
Subfloor readings and extras on record The customer asks for extra thresholds and a levelling pass on the day, then queries them once the invoice arrives. Note the hygrometer reading, the extras and photos from your phone before you leave, so the proof is on the job when the office invoices.
02 Finish and invoice
Mark it done, then invoice it
Log your hours and the work carried out before you load the van. The invoice is raised from the quote, so nobody retypes measure sheets.
Fit sheets that become invoices Measure sheets and room notes get lost in the van, and the invoice is rebuilt from a photo of a clipboard. Mark rooms done on site, and the office raises the invoice from the accepted quote the same afternoon.

What JobSheet does not do for flooring specialists
JobSheet is not a measuring or room-planning tool and it does not generate cutting plans or take-offs. Keep those in the software you already use. JobSheet covers the job around them: the customer, the diary, the quote, access and subfloor notes, batch and shade notes, photos and the invoice.
JobSheet does not send text messages to customers. Offline use on site is limited to jobs already loaded on your phone and notes that sync when you are back online, so photo uploads and new quotes still need a signal.
