How to schedule a job in the JobSheet diary
Steps
- Open the job sheet (from Job Sheets, Customers, or Dashboard).
- On the Office tab workflow step Schedule, set Job date and time (UK local date and time picker).
- Tick one or more people under Assigned to (in the schedule step or Advanced edit). The schedule filters by assignee when you view Mine.
- Pause after you set assignees and the time. A green tick appears when the schedule has saved. There is no Save schedule button.
- Open Work Schedule to see the job on the correct Mon–Sun day. Use Dashboard for today’s timeline.
On a computer (about 901px and above), the schedule header has Diary and Team week. Change week with ‹ › around the date. This week appears when you have moved away. Diary is the usual day × colleague planner with full job cards. Team week shows every colleague as a row and the week across the top. See Use Team week on the Work Schedule. Phones stay on the usual diary.
Status on the board
Each card shows Open, In progress, Done, Finished, or Cancelled.
- Cancelled jobs leave Work Schedule, Dashboard today, and Team week. They also leave the calendar subscribe feed.
- Done and Finished jobs stay on the board so you can look back at the week. On Team week those chips are grey. Those visits stay in the calendar subscribe feed.
Tips
- Jobs without a schedule still appear in lists; the calendar export uses created time when no start time is set.
- Move times when a visit slips: edit the same job sheet.
- For a one-off copy of an old visit (same customer and instructions, new date), use Duplicate. See Duplicate a job sheet.
- For regular repeat visits (weekly cleans, fortnightly checks), use Repeat when creating a job sheet. See Create recurring job sheets.
