How to create recurring job sheets in JobSheet

Before you start

  • Add the customer first, or create the job sheet from their profile.
  • Set Job date and time before you turn on Repeat — recurring series need a first visit time.
  • Works orders (work order reference or required-by fields) cannot be made recurring. Use a standard job sheet instead.

Typical use

A cleaner might visit the same customer every Monday and Friday at 10:00 until December 2026. JobSheet creates one job sheet per visit. Each visit can be marked done, rescheduled, or commented on independently.

Steps — create a recurring series

  1. Sign in to your workspace (for example yourcompany.jobsheet.uk).
  2. Open Job Sheets and choose New job sheet (or New job sheet from a customer profile).
  3. Enter title, select customer, and add a description if helpful.
  4. Open Schedule now (optional) and tick at least one person under Assigned to.
  5. Set Job date and time (UK local) for the first visit.
  6. Tick Repeat to open the recurrence panel.
  7. Choose Repeats: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  8. Set Every (for example every 1 week, or every 2 weeks).
  9. For Weekly, tap the weekday chips under On days (for example Monday and Friday).
  10. Set Ends on — required. JobSheet does not support open-ended series.
  11. Read the summary line (for example Every week on Monday and Friday at 10:00, until 31 December 2026).
  12. Save. JobSheet creates one job sheet for each visit through the end date (up to 365 visits per series).
  13. Open Work Schedule to see each visit on the correct day.

Each visit is a normal job sheet

  • Mark one visit done without affecting others.
  • Add notes and photos on a single visit.
  • Drag a card on the desktop planner to reschedule one day only.
  • Assignees see each visit on Dashboard (today) and Work Schedule when filtered to Mine.

Remove one visit from the series

When a customer cancels a single week:

  1. Open that visit’s job sheet.
  2. In the Recurring series panel, choose Remove this visit.
  3. Confirm. That date is removed from the active schedule. Other visits in the series are unchanged.

Cancelled visits stay in your records for audit. Workspace owners can still use Delete job sheet to remove a visit permanently.
