How to see when a customer opened an invoice email in JobSheet
What JobSheet tracks
When you Email to customer from an invoice or quote, JobSheet logs the send in History on the document. Open tracking depends on the email provider configuration for your workspace.
Check send history on the invoice
- Open the invoice detail screen.
- Scroll to History.
- Look for Marked sent or email-related events after you used Email to customer.
Detailed open/read timestamps appear when the platform records them on the send log. If you do not see an opened status, the customer may not have opened the message yet, or their mail client blocked tracking pixels.
Tips
- Open tracking is indicative, not proof of delivery. Ask the customer to check spam if they did not receive the email.
- Each send uses one customer email from allowance.
- Use Copy customer link if the customer prefers SMS or WhatsApp instead of email.
