How to turn on customer notifications in JobSheet

· Updated

What customer notifications do

When on, JobSheet can send HTML summary emails for quotes, invoices, works-order booking replies, and paperwork packs. Messages include a customer link where applicable. Server invoice PDFs can attach on send when archived. Use Print / PDF in the browser for quotes or drafts.

Each send or automatic due reminder uses one customer email from your monthly allowance. See Understand customer email allowance.

Team invite emails always send from JobSheet regardless of this setting.

Steps

  1. Sign in as the workspace admin and open Workspace → Notifications.

  1. Set Send emails to customers from JobSheet to Yes.
  2. Optionally set Reply-to email and Display name so customers can reply to you directly.
  3. A green tick appears on that row when it has saved. Reply-to and display name save when you leave the field.

Email allowance

Your plan includes a monthly customer email allowance. Usage appears in Notifications and on Subscription. Each manual send and each automatic reminder counts as one email. When allowance runs low, contact support or add email packs where offered.

When buttons appear

With notifications off, Email to customer buttons on quotes and invoices stay hidden. Works-order Email (booked) and Send pack by email are also hidden. Mailto links and Copy template still work in your own email app.
