01 Quote and photograph
Quote the stair, photograph the finish
Price the staircase, door hangs, ironmongery and mouldings as separate lines. On site, add photos and the agreed finish to the job, so the snag visit is not a guess.

02 Finish and invoice
Mark it done, then invoice it
Log your hours and the work carried out from site. The invoice is raised from the quote, so nobody retypes the spec from a notebook.

What JobSheet does not do for carpenters and joiners
JobSheet is not a CAD, cutting-list or CNC package. JobSheet covers everything around the build: the customer, the diary, the quote, site notes, photos and the invoice.
JobSheet does not send text messages to customers. Offline use on site is limited to jobs already loaded on your phone and notes that sync when you are back online, which helps on plots with poor signal.
