01 Quote and photograph
Quote the rooms, photograph the boards
Price wall board, ceiling, beads and patches as separate lines. On site, add photos of each boarded room to the job, so the next trade has the record.

02 Finish and invoice
Mark it done, then invoice it
Log your hours and the work carried out from site. The invoice is raised from the quote, with the rooms and extras on the same job.
Variations that turn up when the keys go back A chased wall is patched and an extra ceiling is boarded on the day, then the customer queries the extra a week later. Note the extra patching and boarding on the job and mark the visit done on site. The office raises the invoice from the quote with the same site and extras.
