How to mark a job finished in the office

· Updated

Before you start

The visit should already be Done. Field staff mark Done on site. Finished is the office step after that.

Steps

  1. Open Job Sheets. Use StageAll active or Done to find visits waiting for the office.

  1. Open the job sheet.
  2. Check the Job tab (notes, photos, actual visit times) and print if you need a copy. See Print a job sheet with a QR code.
  3. Raise the invoice if you bill from the quote. See Create an invoice after a job is done.
  4. Set status to Finished:

- On the **Job** tab, choose **Finished** in the status list (office staff and the workspace admin). On a phone you may also see **Mark finished**. - On the **Office** tab, set **Status** to **Finished**. The status dropdown saves on its own and shows a green tick. From **Advanced edit**, choose **Save changes** instead.

Field staff do not see Finished in their status list. Only office staff and the workspace admin can close a job this way.

What changes

Done jobs stay on Job Sheets under All active so the office can find them. They also stay on Diary, Dashboard today, and Team week (grey chips on Team week).

Finished jobs leave All active. Use StageFinished (or All) to find them later.
