Photos & attachments
JobSheet keeps photos and files on the job sheet or customer they belong to, so before/after shots, certificates, and delivery notes are not lost in camera rolls or message threads.
Where you attach files
Open job sheet detail ( Job tab) or a customer profile and use Files. Upload from the office or on site; pick several files at once when adding from your device. Everyone who can open that record can download later. See add photos and organise files in folders.
That is different from notes: attachments are the actual image or PDF, with a filename and download link.
Photos from site (automatic resize)
Large photos from a phone camera are resized automatically before upload. You are not waiting on a full-resolution file over weak mobile signal.
Typical uses:
- Before and after photos for landlords or agents
- Meter cupboard, consumer unit, or plant room shots for heating and electrical work
- Serial plates, damage, or delivery notes for warranty jobs
- Snag lists and handback evidence for decorators and builders
Supported image types include PNG, JPEG, and WebP, plus other files within the workspace upload limit.
Paperwork on works orders
On landlord and maintenance jobs, filing into Test certificate or Invoice copy counts toward the office paperwork checklist.
Who can upload and delete
Any signed-in workspace member can upload files to job sheets and customers they can open. Delete is limited to the workspace owner role on each attachment row, so engineers can add site evidence without removing records by mistake.
Common questions
Do attachments work offline?
You need a connection to upload or open files. JobSheet does not sync attachments offline today.
Is there a separate “gallery” app?
No. Files live on the job sheet or customer record, and on the reports summary for activity counts.
Can I attach the same file to two jobs?
Upload once per job sheet (or customer). Copy the file locally if you need it on another record.
